Philou Louzolo is a DJ/producer from the Netherlands with Congolese, Nigerian, and Sierra Leoneanroots. He is highly regarded in the international scene and recognized as a pioneer in blendinggenres such as Afrotech, Melodic,Amapiano, House, and Techno. He has received support fromacclaimed artists like Damian Lazarus, Solomun, Amémé, and TSHA.
Having released nine EPs, Philou Louzolo gained recognition with his debut album, which wasnominated for “Best Album of the Year” by 3voor12, the most prominent music platform in theNetherlands. Furthermore, DJ Mag and BBC Radio 1 named him as one to watch in 2023.
Philou Louzolo also hosts his own events called “Philou Louzolo & Friends” at Thuishaven, as well ascurated nights at Club Shelter, featuring artists like Shimza, Damian Lazarus, Culoe de Song, FloydLavine, Black Motion, Cincity, Jaden Thompson, Jamiie, and many more.
